Sarah Blumling

Sarah founded QueensBench in San Francisco in 2013 in order to meet the unique hiring needs of high-growth technology companies, many of which face novel and complex legal, compliance and commercial challenges.  

A former Skadden M&A lawyer with over 13 years of executive recruiting experience, Sarah has led C-level Legal, Compliance and Privacy searches at companies in highly-regulated industries (including FinTech, Insurance Tech, Health Tech and Transportation) as well as software/SaaS, cybersecurity and entertainment.  

Sarah also specializes in searches for Chief Operating Officers, a role that is unique in every organization and tends to require a complex blend of skills, experience and situational fit.

Sarah spent her childhood in South Africa, then lived in London for several years before moving to San Francisco in 2004.  She obtained her LL.B from the University of Exeter,  UK and is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales.  She enjoys bad puns, good journalism and all kinds of dancing.




Andrea Berry

Andrea has spent over eight years placing executives at technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, across industry verticals including enterprise SaaS, software, FinTech, healthcare and consumer products. 

She has conducted searches for positions at all levels of seniority, including General Counsel and Head of HR.  Her clients have ranged in size from Series B start-ups with under 50 employees, through to Fortune 10 companies. Prior to becoming an executive recruiter, Andrea led compliance and HR programs at a 400-employee non-profit in northern California.

Andrea grew up in Marin and lived in Mexico and Grass Valley prior to returning to the Bay Area.  She obtained her BA from University of California, Irvine and speaks fluent Spanish.  She is an expert baker, a skilled salsa dancer and a former World Champion equestrian.
